About Joseph Ferguson
My aim is to capture an idea, an experience, and/or a compelling emotions in the creation of a piece I am working on at the time. The material I have used for the last several years includes acrylic on canvas or acrylic on paper. As to digital work it is created from a painting or a drawing using primarily chalk or oil pastel then photographed rendered into a digital image when the desired effect is accomplished. I find my inspiration from nature, a concept, emotion, or my imagination. My style is taken from a range of artists including impressionists, surrealists, to digital artists. My intentions for work is share my experiences and hope that it has value or appeal to others but most importantly that it guides me in my journey of...
